The Provincial Government of Papua Grants IDR 500 Billion of Peparnas Fund – The Provincial Government of Papua disbursed a grant of IDR 500 billion to support the Indonesian Paralympic Week (Peparnas) XVI in November 2021.

“There are 10 fields, the funds we have given are IDR 500 billion and we still lack 200 billion,” said Papua Regional Secretary Dance Yulian Flassy after giving the grant funds for 10 fields in Jayapura, Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

The Papuan government will immediately disburse the second phase of funds to support Peparnas amounting to Rp200 billion. “Initially, Peparnas proposed Rp. 900 billion, but it was revised from the inspectorate of around Rp. 7 billion more. For that we will disburse the rest as soon as possible,” he said.

He hopes that the funds can be managed in an orderly, rule-abiding, transparent and accountable manner, so that the community can enjoy the advantage. Not to forget, he appealed to pay attention to health protocols during Peparnas.

“It’s not only the budget that has a special concern, but when it is implemented, we will seriously pay attention to health protocols, especially the current situation is still the Covid-19 pandemic,” he ordered.
