Access of Oil and LPG Services has been Easy, Ahok Believes Papua Gets More Progress – President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), Basuki Tjahja Purnama, believes that Papua will progress further with easy access to LPG oil and gas services.

This was conveyed by Ahok, an familiar name for Pertamina’s President Commissioner, when inspecting the Sorong Fuel Terminal (FT Sorong) and the Aircraft Filling Depot at Domine Esok Sorong Airport (DPPU Deo Sorong), West Papua, Thursday, October 28, 2021.

According to Ahok, Pertamina must continually create innovation for the execution of the One Village One Outlet (OVOO) program, including the most efficient way to distribute Pertamina’s products in each district in Papua to meet the needs of the community.

“Pertamina received a mandate by the Government to be able to distribute oil and LPG to the community in a proportional, fair and equitable manner, as a form of fulfilling oil and gas needs, especially in Eastern Indonesia,” said Ahok in a discussion with the Papua-Maluku Regional Commercial and Trading Subholding ranks. .

Ahok also suggested Pertamina to innovate steadily by increasing the opening of product distribution channels, such as General Fuel (SPBU), Pertashop and LPG agencies.

In the process, Ahok also emphasized that Pertamina should flatten the playing field and transparency for anyone interested in becoming Pertamina’s partner.

One of the reasons is because the Papua-Maluku Region faces geographical challenges in the Papua region in distributing products to meet the needs of the community.

On that occasion Ahok also encouraged the workers at the Sorong Fuel Terminal to always uphold integrity, and provide the best ability in their work.

Meanwhile, an Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Sub Holding Commercial and Trading Regional Papua Maluku, Yoyok Wahyu Maniadi noted that services for 4 provinces reached 7.4 million people.

Where per year, distribution of fuel reaches 2.06 million kilo liters, Kerosene 292 kilo liters, non-subsidized LPG 9.7 MT, and Avtur 157 thousand kilo liters with business revenue of Rp 15 trillion.

In this fuel and gas service, the available infrastructure reaches 20 Fuel Terminals, 1 Jobber and 12 DPPU scattered across Papua and Maluku. 347 gas stations can be reached by land transportation, 153 gas stations are reached by Air Multimodal, and 19 gas stations can be reached by Air Multimodal.

To reach Pertamina’s BBM customers and facilitate the distribution of fuel, Pertashop is being developed with a target of 2022 as many as 221 Pertashop outlets, 129 Pertashop outlets have been operating, and 106 Pertashop outlets are in the process.
