A Papuan Dance Collaborated with Angklung Closes Semester 1 of Darussalam Kindergarten

goodmorningpapua.com – Papuan dance art in collaboration with traditional musical instruments, Angklung, enlivened the giving of report cards for Kindergarten (TK) Darussalam, Kuprik, Semangga District, Merauke Regency, Saturday 18 December 2021.

The principal of the Darussalam Kindergarten, Sri Krisdantiningsi said, this performance was a part of the art performance of the Darussalam Kindergarten children in ending of semester 1 for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The Darussalam Kindergarten has 37 students divided into two classes, Class A and Class B. Teaching and learning activities at Darussalam Kindergarten are not running optimally during the Covid-19 pandemic. “In the first semester, the learning program ran smoothly, however, the learning process implemented health protocols. Learning is divided into two stages, in the morning at 08.00 – 09.30 WIT, then at 09.30 – 11.00 WIT,” said Sri.

In the Darussalam Kindergarten education process during the pandemic, the TK provides relief to parents in paying tuition fees. “Regarding the pandemic, tuition fees for children have also been lowered from Rp 90 thousand per month to Rp 50 thousand per month,” said Sri.

Sri also revealed that there was an Education Operational assistance fund from the Regional Government of Rp. 10 million for Darussalam Kindergarten during the pandemic. The funds are used for kindergarten needs.
