1,399 Indigenous Papuan Students Pass the Scholarship Program Administration of Otsus 2021

goodmorningpapua.com – A total of 1,399 indigenous Papuan students (OAP) have passed the administration of the Papuan special autonomy scholarship program in 2021.

A Head of the Papua Province Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM), Aryoko AF Rumaropen, said that thousands of OAP students who passed the administration were divided into three scholarship programs.

“There are 962 Papuan Superior Student Scholarship Program (SUP), 135 Japanese Vocational Scholarship Program and 302 Health Profession D-III Scholarship Program,” said Aryoko in his statement, Friday (23/7/2021).

According to Aryoko, more than a thousand students of OAP who pass the administration will take further tests, namely the Academic Potential Test (TPA) and the English Language Test.

He explained that while the Japanese Vocational Scholarship Program and the Health Profession D-III Scholarship Program, the TPA test was carried out on Monday, July 26, 2021.

He added that students passing the SUP Program will get scholarships from the Papua Provincial Government to study at various universities at home and abroad.

“Meanwhile, 302 OAP students passing the administration of the Health Professions D-III Scholarship Program will take the TPA test next week, if they pass this test, they will get scholarships to study at two Poltekkes-Kemenkes, namely Poltekkes Jayapura and Poltekkes Manado,” he said again.

Meanwhile, 135 OAP students who have passed the administration of the Japanese Vocational scholarship program are scheduled to take the TPA test on Monday, July 26, 2021. If they pass the TPA, they will study at the University of Fukuoka, Japan with a special study program, namely the development of the agricultural industry.
